Saw one tiny wind slab below ridge at 10,200' but otherwise things seemed bomber

A quick look at the graupel falling out of the pit wall.

Snowpack

Instability Comment

One small 3-6" wind slab on a steep slope observed but fairly harmless. Graupel pools were interesting to travel through and had high potential to sluff. Multiple test pits but all had ECTX results, a few CTH on the graupel 25-35cm down but high friction.

New snow was mostly graupel over a very stiff wind slab. Graupel pooling on aprons was amazing, up to 15" deep in spots.
