Quick report
Toured from the resort up blue Mtn and down the west side to 5600 ft then back up blue and skied down the east face back into the resort. Snowed lightly most of the day. Breakable crust at all elevations and aspects. Did not observe any whomping, cracking or avalanches (moderate visibility restricted view of neighboring ridges). Dug a pit on the east face of blue near the top at about 6600 ft. 145 cm of snow. Top 9 cm fresh snow on top of a thin ice crust. Performed an ECT that collapsed 50 cm down from the top at 14. Collapse did not propagate across the whole length of the column but the 1st third did pull out with shovel pressure from behind on a clean surface.
