HS 105cm. Weakest snow is the pre-frontal 3cm of faceted grains on the snow surface before last week's violent frontal passage. I expect this to be repeater structure, though this is my first outing on Kessler this season. ECTN15 on weak snow described above. No results with ECT or XPST with basal facets. Basal facets here seemed 1F- and gaining strength.

Snowpack
Couple inches new above a supportable crust in the east couloir. Northerly aspects soft and turnable. Very minor sluffing in 40°+ terrain.
