-
Dug a pit and performed and ECT in the Reynold's Glades area. NW-facing slope at 9,012 feet. Located the persistent weak layer at approx. 81cm deep but yielded ECTNR. I was eventually able to get a failure with very firm pressure during a shovel shear test. Though the weak layer is deep and not very reactive, hitting the right spot in steep terrain could be bad news.

Noticed small cornices forming and signs of wind loading on east-facing aspects.
