Snowpack

Above-freezing temperatures and an abundance of fresh snow created warm and gloppy conditions today. A few signs of instability were present, roller balls on south-facing slopes as well as a few natural avalanches that released in start zones above Sardine Can Wall Gully. R1- D1, however, the snow filled the gully in spots, with enough snow to bury a person (hypothertical) with accumulated debris. Intense solar radiation at times.
