Went for a quick afternoon lap on Presidents, the southerly glades of Marmot above Archangel. There was ~7" of fresh dry snow at the road (pullouts not plowed) and ~10" at 3200' in the meadows. Did not dig a pit but from the waist deep trail breaking and pole probes, there was 3.5' or so of soft snow on top of assorted plant varieties, overall no present slab, though basal facets in most locations. Skied down from 3200' in incredible waist deep soft snow and felt the underlying tundra infrequently. Several large collapses in the lower meadows, otherwise, no observed signs of instability.
