Today held a crisp bluebird morning, that gave way to gray skies, low vis, and light snow showers throughout the day. We snomobiled up Willow Flat Rd. experiencing soft snow over a hard crust that was difficult to penetrate as an individual, but not too dificult to breach with a snowmobile. Beneath the crust was unconsolidated snow.
Once we reached Willow Flat, we encountered visible evidence of SW winds from the most recent storm. We experienced constant cracking and collapsing underfoot, as well as shooting cracks on surface wind slabs, and in buried wind slabs from Sunday's storm. As we climbed above 9000' it became easier to kick off wind slabs ranging from 1 inch to 2 ft deep in E - N terrain. We encountered wind slab, wind buff, and scoured surfaces, and saw many cornices on leeward slopes. Soft snow was found in protected N facing terrain today.
Significant collapsing and cracking observed on E - N aspects (did not travel NW - SE) at near treeline and above treeline.Weather

It was a beautiful day with on and off snow showers, broken up by sunshine and blue sky. Winds were light from the SW up to 10000' with some moderate gusts. There were small amounts of blowing snow during moderate gusts, and we experienced flat light throughout the day.

There was a seemingly fresh crown line in a steep, NNE facing bowl. More info is needed.
