On the slopes we traveled on we were sinking well below our ankles by 11:30am on east through south aspects when not under tree cover. Snow under trees did not appear to have refrozen last night on any aspect.

Observed wet loose avalanche (D1) on Gothic east face from Gothic Townsite at 9:45am. Failed earlier than other slopes due to warming of rock bands next to snow.
