Quick report
- Cracking
- isolated
We found shallow instabilities - both loose snow and thin, soft slabs - developing on a few northerly aspects above 11,000', over both faceted and wind hardened surfaces. Problems were small and manageable; entrainment in long, steep terrain was the biggest concern.
One shooting crack in thin, fresh wind drift near the ridgetop, along with a few wind slabs on test features.Weather
