Quick report
The 3 to 4 inches of new snow provided good skiing over the Sierra cement. Go get it before it gets cooked, higher elevation northerlys are probably better.
We avoided some of the most obviously wind-loaded terrain and found good stability with minor sluffing.

Cloud cover varied from partly to mostly cloudy during the first half of the day. A few snowflakes falling here and there. Light to moderate winds occasionally transporting snow above 11,700 ft.
Snowpack
3 to 4 inches of new snow from last night. The current wind slab problem appeared to be mostly confined to this new snow in the area, up to 8" on leeward festures. Minor sluffing in steep terrain.
Easterly facing slopes at ~11,600 or 11,700 were starting to get cooked. Low-angle slopes up to our high point had a breakable crust under the new snow that would have made for poor ski quality. Snow quality on northerly facing slopes began to decrease below about 10,300ft.
Avalanche
There was a small dribbler below a cornice going into 4th bowl. Otherwise, poor visability of other mountains in the area.
