Red Flags Comment

Observed small natural dry loose around 12:00 coming off ESE 9,800' of the south ridge of Rainbow peak. Dug on Westerly at 8,500' do investigate off aspects again. Had 5 other holes close by on WNW, W, WSW with similar structure/results, with WNW showing slightly poorer structure/easier results. See pit below, dug on WSW.

Starting to feel spooky out there. Great time to sit back and observe how the spx/mtns react to the loading....

Instability Comment

Not much new to discuss. Storm cycle will give us the best info

With increasing winds will see increase. Slight density inversions noted in new snow and snow falling this morning, storm slab and dry loose also problems.
