Quick report
Testing the waters here to see the coverage etc...Drove up to before where the skid trail entrance is to the ridge. Way too little coverage to try from there, continued on road until ridge trail and used that to try to access the bowls on the ridge. Made it to below the South bowl of the ridge, decisions were made that ended with using the skin track to get back down as most of the skiable runs are well covered for about 2-300 feet and then become an elk weed labyrinth. Avalanche activity was confined to the areas where enough snow was present to slide, and appeared to have been back during our warming events in the prior weeks. Conclusion that most of the swan range won't be rideable until more prevent snowfall persists for time. Unless you like the UFC fight with the brush.
