Quick report
Considering the strong, Northeasterly winds the Whitefish Range experienced over the last 48hours, the SE aspects including our test site seemed relatively unaffected by the wind. Extreme wind affect resulting in pillows, wind slabs, and sastrugi was observed during our skin along Goulie Ridge. The SW aspect of which we descended back into the resort we encountered few pockets of light snow, though mostly wind affected with small reactive wind slabs.

Light winds coming from the SW, cold temperatures, very short breaks of sunshine masked by a thin layer of clouds, with predominately overcast skies, no precipitation
Snowpack
Dug a pit on a SE facing slope off of Goulie ridge at about 6600ft. Slope angle of test site was approximately 30 degrees on fairly open, treed terrain. Initial observations noted roughly 8inches of fist soft, fresh snow from the recent storm. An Extended Column Test was performed resulting of ECTN22.
