Quick report
Did 2 short laps above red lake on a nnw aspect with a bit of a leeward gully. Saw at least 3 groups of 2-4 go up red lake bowl proper. Probe mid slope said 80cm. There’s a bit of a storm slab roughly 6-8 inches from the Thu/Fri storm, we kicked it up on kick turns but didn’t really propagate on the ride down. Surprisingly didn’t hit a single rock on the way down. Thankfully there’s a bit of a crust at the interface w old snow. Would not recommend traveling over the lakes yet, edges are slushy and there’s still some open holes.
