Quick report
New snow was shockingly good even at the trailhead. The kind we don't get out here very often. Ski penetration was 15cm at the trailhead and quickly increased once crossing into a NE gully to escape the bushes. I made my way up towards the half pipe gully, hugging small ridge like features. Planning to stop around the top of one of the aprons. The snow was unconsolidated the entire time, I didn't find any slab like structure. The wind was pumping up on the ridge and otherwise was relatively calm except infrequent gusts from the North. I tip toed up to around 9k and floated back to my track for another. The lower flanks of McGee are so shallow that there didn't seem to be a PWL problem, but that's a broad assumption.

Several small dry loose slabs and significant wind transport. No signs of slab formation where I skinned.
