Quick report

Surface conditions are variable. While the clear skies are here the temps are still not warm enough to affect the snow. If you're out make sure to be cautious around wind lips, we have been seeing lots of small slabs breaking on micro terrain, these could make you have a bad day if your in the wrong spot, not spread out, or break something with your partner below you.

A cold start to the day that warmed up significantly by noon. No wind.

Snowpack

Investigated a similar slope/setup that we've seen the wind slabs breaking earlier this week.

On most slopes there is a new wind slab that varies in size that is sitting on top of near surface facets with a bed surface of the season's solid wind board.
