Skied the NE5 “fingers” this morning. Weather was spectacular, no wind. Sun crust on SE-SW aspects but E-NE aspects held dry snow. Dug a pit at 1930m on a 30 degree slope / E aspect. Total depth 155cm; the top 120cm gets progressively more dense, ending in a 5cm pencil layer. Below this 120cm was 35cm of facets (to ground).
