Forum Ridge

Another fun day on the ridge. Snow assessment showed no reaction but we did remote trigger about a size 1.5 that ran down a gully near where we were riding down. We headed straight over to lower angle trees to finish the run. Did another lap farther north on the ridge down from what we call the trident tree and snow was less wind effected and rode very stable there.

Was riding down on edge of trees near a gully. When we stopped to regroup in our safe spot the avalanche was remotely triggered down the gully. Was just the 15-20 cm of new storm snow that slid with no step down to deeper layers.
