Surface snow, at least up to the traveled 9000', northern half of compass is moist to wet. Pinwheeling snow all morning. Pit profile has incorrect date (Jan 7, tomorrow) sorry - international date line and profile settings and such.

<p>At 8340ft north-north east slopes there exists an identifiable FC layer sitting on top of basal ice. CT13SP result. No ECT performed due to there being a fallen tree at base of pit. Thought there might not be old FC snow (or enough old snow) at this altitude but I was wrong. </p>
