Snowpack

Instability Comment

I think we're trending in the right direction where the pack is deep... shallow, rocky terrain is still suspect. In addition, we'll have to keep an eye on slopes that broke to old snow near the ground during the Jan. 5th storm cycle. Those slopes are now shallow and thin... with characteristics much just like an early season snowpack.

Deeper snowpack regions on the North Slope feel warm and offer a remarkable amount of body and rebound... very Wasatch-esque
