Amazing day in Teddy Bear - hero snow sums it up. We put a track in up to about 1980m where we probed 260cm of snow. As we got near the ridge to Frequent Flyer, the winds had created a storm slab and we easily ski cut it and it slid on the prior interface. Within the trees though, minimal wind effect to report but tree bombs galore.
Grizzly slid almost to the uptrack and we think we may have heard Frequent Flyer go also.
Like the bulletin said - with great powder (and face shots every turn or so) comes great responsibility !
