<p>Two days of skiing around Cain (19th & 20th). Recent storm snow settling quickly with cold temps, and surface hoar observed to ridgetop. Variable wind effect in the alpine with isolated pockets of unreactive windslab observed. Crust/facet layer down 1m on average. Shallow rocky zones becoming more faceted with cold temps. Recent large (size 2) natural avalanche (100m wide by 250m long) observed on the SE side of Mt Cain. </p>
