Connaught party

<p>Some people were crusty. Some people were deep. Definitely a few people up there. ~50cms of low density powder. Observed some whumpfing around Ursus Trees area. No shooting cracks or slides observed. The gradient wasn’t conducive to produce any dry loose or major sluff. </p>

Dense trees, Mellow slopes, Open trees.

Sunny slopes.

Avalanche Conditions

30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Snow Conditions

Crusty, Deep powder.

Weather Conditions

Cloudy, Stormy.
