Low Coverage

AST 1 in the Bearface cutblocks. Freezing level ~1400m, snowing in the upper cutblock and rain at the bottom. Very low coverage 20cms lower, 40cms average, 70 cms max. Snowpack moist top to bottom and not supportive to boots even on compacted road. Still many early season conditions and obstacles as seen in photos making cutblocks unskiable. Good coverage on road. Great time to practice rescue skills :) Snow flakes falling give us hope, bring on fabulous February!
