Conditions were amazing in the trees and lower half of the pipeline, everything else was scoured by the recent winds. Could see some pretty extensive crowns across the valley (first picture.) Around the sub summit, some areas had ski pen of ~20 cm, others had an unbreakable wind crust about 2 cm thick, boot pen ~30 cm in the softer areas. In dense trees, ski pen was closer to 25-30 cm.

No wind all morning, and temps rose slightly by lunch to -17.
