Storm-slabtastic
Northwest Coastal

We rode Eye candy and a lap off the first knoll, then did a lap of Burnt trees. Snow quality was variable; some nice turns, some hard windslab, and lots of crust around still that the new snow slides easily on, touchy wind slab, and shooting cracks noticed when skinning back to the resort. One skier-triggered size 1 in wind-effected snow on the Dec7 crust, whumphing and cracks propagating as far as 20m at the top of the black runs, we stayed away from any slope with consequences and returned inbounds for our final lap
