<p>Avalanche field tech observations for April 4: Good travel, bad skiing. Took advantage of good weather to traverse in the Fraser/Taiya area and get broad observations. Rapid travel with good grip and 0 ski penetration. Lots of wind affect observed since previous snowfall. Snow is redistributed into satstrugi and hard slab very variable on many aspects. Fairly widespread suncrust at lower elevations. No new avalanche activity, despite evidence of widespread human travel. No whumpfs or cracks.
