Mount Seymour Backcountry

gareth.wheats, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Spent the day between Brockton and 1st Pump. Observed no natural or skier triggered slides on south aspects. Observed evidence of 3 slab release's on North aspects. Some older some newer, looked to be mostly skier triggered. Hand sheers on North wind loaded slopes resulted in easy/medium effort releases on 2-4cm of facets sitting on the very noticeable crust from last week. New snow depths range from 40-70 depending on aspect to wind.
