Cold temps and outflow winds at the Dome
Northwest Inland
AvCan Northwest , Monday 3rd February, 2025 5:15PM
Today, we rode at the Dome. Up to 45cm of snow from last week's storm was on top of the previous surface. In places exposed to the wind, this snow was heavily wind-effected. Sheltered areas provided better riding quality. There are still lots of large open creek holes in the Dome area. Temperatures were around -25. There was a moderate north east wind through the day that was transporting snow. We observed no new avalanches
