Skied the dogleg couloir off glacier crest. The top was quite skied out with some rocks in the entrance/choke poking through. Slightly hooky soft windslab on the skiers left wall at the top with no reactivity. Sluff was running off the skis in the guts and on the steeper walls off to the right but not entraining much or running far. Conditions significantly improved lower down in more sheltered aspects with a skin pen around 20. Probing with a pole we felt a slight crust down around 60 on average with facets below. Mid-upper snowpack was right side up and supportive. Snowing s-1 most of the day with calm winds gusting light from the south and no wind transport observed. Surface hoar observed on some boulders at TL but surface snow was mostly PPir and small graupel. No signs of instability.
