Tantalus Observations

<p>Popped up to the JH col for a conditions check, hopeful to ride or ski. We experienced strong winds from the NW. Multiple natural avalanches size 1-3 observed in alpine and treeline. Based on the current conditions and frequency of naturals we backed off and kept it mellow! Photos are from the am flight and the pm flight out was much more dramatic.</p>

Slab avalanches today or yesterday.

30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
