Ice - Bighorn Falls

Bighorn Falls.
**May also be known as Fjord Falls or Hidden Falls.
**The plunge pool at the base has collapsed leaving a shallow pool over the ice. Small bridges from either the left or right sides make getting to the ice easy though.
**Falls have gotten some sun in the last two weeks since my buddy saw them, however despite surface affects the ice beneath is pretty solid. For the most part you can find excellent screws; the exception being the vertical ice going up the middle. It featured a lot of lacy new ice and sun affected ice.
**Right side featured good stances and bulges. Left side was a more consistent 65 degree angle but went from slightly wet early to quite wet by the time we finished.
**We used a screw anchor on the huge flat ledge, backed up to a log frozen into the ice. Towards the end while directional screws on the climb were melting out, the anchor actually remained in good shape.
**We ended the day with a very short second pitch. Left side above the log pile would be virtually a walk off, while the right side had a very fun vertical section. A slight groove had lacy ice but good tools on my left and excellent ice on my right for screws. We then walked off.
**This climb is not in avalanche terrain with flat creek above the falls. I'm not certain if there is confusion on the name/location of this climb hence using the local name of Bighorn Falls, but it may also have been named something else by climbers.
