Trout River Bowl

Long Range Mountains

We went to Trout River Bowl for our first field day of the season and were pleasantly surprised by the conditions. While the snow is still too shallow for making turns, we were able to skin all the way to the bowl from the parking lot, which we were not expecting! Snow depth in the bowl itself is quite variable and ranges from 20cm-60cm. Still lots of rocks lurking under the surface, but things are definitely filling in. Won’t take much more snow before we can start laying down some turns!!
