<p>Great snow for sledding, Deep and fluffy. Didn't seem to get the same extreme warming that (I assume) the Southern ranges did. There wasn't a melt freeze crust even on the road at lower elevations. Observed multiple size 1 avalanches where the recently formed wind slab had released off the 45+ degree NE facing slopes overhead, indicative of a likely exposure to watch out for that wind slab on.</p>

<p>It was calm where we were at 1500m but on the ridge top 1800m there was moderate blowing snow from the SW.</p>
