Ogden Wall

Skied one of the steep lines off Mount Ogden's east face down to the lake. Snow was a mix of powder and crust depending where in the tight feature you tried to make a turn in. The low point of the half pipe shaped couloir held predictable turns on a supportive crust. The skier's right side held powder but also off chamber turns. The fan was creamed out avalanche debris which skied very well. Powder skiing after the debris as you reached the lake. Much better snow than we thought we'd get when we compared our notes from the last week.
Warm in the alpine, a bit cooler as we went down. Sunny all day and almost no wind.
