Keystone - Worth the Whoops

Fantastic day at Keystone with 20 cm of settled old storm snow riding very well. Cornices loom large over many alpine features and we did see some natural cornice failures in the late afternoon despite the cold temperatures, but they did not pull any slabs in the slopes they impacted. Give these things a wide berth right now. The road is 15 kilometers of trophy sized whoops, but it’s great once you’re into the Alpine.
