Wolverine/Pyramid Mountain

Ryan Shelly, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Awesome Day in the Wolverine. Compression test moderate down 55cm on the Facet layer (CTM11down 55 SP on FC's size 4MM) . This result is the main concern given the recent sled triggered incidents in the North Rockies. Expect the Facet layer to vary in terms of its depth but expect it to be remain highly reactive as we move into the warmer weather. Alpine and treeline air temps remained below zero however 4500 feet or less was wet snow by late afternoon. Get out there and get after it cause the snow up high was all time! in the Alpine we observed cornice release and steep solar point releases by rocks, at treeline some steep solar releases by trees were also observed.
