With the recent 'storm' of lightly snowing yesterday thru all day today, Hankin now has 20cms of powder on top of a crust (from the freezing rain event of Jan.4th perhaps?). This crust was supportive at treeline but became increasingly less so further down until it was full-on unsupportive/breakable on the bottom half of the runs. Visibility was better than expected, wind from the South is blowing some snow around in the alpine, mild temps. The mountains & trees are looking good with some fresh snow!
