Light but steady drifting off of a few alpine summits from SWerly winds this morning. cloud cover: scattered; wind loading: light; recent snowfall (cm): 0; snow avail for transport: small smounts

Heinous skiing on a  breakable crust on the south side of the compass, settled powder that is starting to facet on the north side of the compass.  New surface hoar growth on all aspects  up to around 11,000', not observed as we climbed higher. . While following the skin track that Evan and Brie set on Friday, we triggered two localized collapses on a collapsing crust on a low angle southeast facing slope at 11,000 feet.
