Quick Observation

Toured North Bowl above Runs 1-3. Observed 10cm of recent snow (wind deposited areas 20-30cm) sitting on top of surface hoar layer forming reactive slabs. The rain crust was mixed with and/or just below the surface hoar layer, felt just before hitting ridge line (~1500m). Observed debris from a few recent naturals on north and northwest aspects, appeared to be from the last ~24h. Could not see any crowns as the visibility was in and out and wind was filling in quite quickly. Ski quality variable in the alpine but overall good...Run 1 was okay to spicy with a breakable rain crust hiding below the light new powder.
