1. The snow line continues to move up the highway and right now it is around Sulphur Campground. 2. A stormy day, but nice to be out for a walk in the woods.
The only minor issue I observed were these soft chunks of drifted snow on the ridglines, that did not pose much problem.
Snowpack
Nice cold snow with about 5~6 inches from the the two days. Conditions were new snow on a supportable spring crust, making for a pleasant day in the mountains.
