Avalanche Information

First three skiers skied down, fourth and final skier triggered avalanche on the third turn in. Skier was able to stay on feet and get off the slab to a safe zone. The three others were tucked in a safe zone at bottom of run. Suspect avalanche ran on a basal weak layer as bed surface appeared very smooth. Either a early melt freeze crust and or facets. Based on avalanche dimensions and debris being 3+m deep along with some broken trees, suspect that the avalanche was a sz 2.5-/2. Feeling very lucky that no one was buried or injured, as things could have gone much worse.
