Teddy Bear Trees

Snowing S1+ through the morning. Winds calm to strong gusts from the SW. Trees bombs were a hazard so avoided lingering under trees. Conditions were deep light powder up to 1,800 m. Didn't go any higher. No slab properties in the snow but some loose dry/sluffs on steeper terrain. Didn't entrain any lower snow. Ski pen ~50cms.
