~40cms of heavy wet snow yesterday (Dec 1st) Snow ended late afternoon and switched to rain overnight. Rain on and off throughout Dec 2nd. Moderate to strong south winds overnight and throughout Dec 2nd. Natural avalanches on the side of Atlin Highway by Comox lake. Photos taken mid afternoon Tuesday Dec 1st. Ice covering all roads making travel by truck, sled, atv very challenging.

At Atlin townsite elevation. Dec 1 snowfall ending 1500. Clouds obscured observations at higher eleveations . All Precip Dec 2nd as rain.
