Good stability and great skiing from the summit of emerald peak. Avalanches noted were isolated to steep solar aspects into the size 2 range. Some slabs but mostly loose avalanches. Approached the summit via the Hamilton lake trail. Snow was powder from summit til 2150m and was wet in sun affected areas til 1700m ish. Then powder below that. solar aspects are rough travel atm with bad snow quality crusts and steep tree line and alpine terrain has pinwheeled in some locations. Old Wind slabs present were not reactive to skier traffic.
