Abbot slide path

Skied amazing pow on east aspects from top of tree line today (first Abbot slide path and Rampart bowl area). Steep slopes on Abbot path had some big sluffs running fast and far, sluff management and safe regrouping spots were key. No wind affect noticed at tree line. Ridge getting to the top of tree line had some old burried windslabs. No signs of instability other than sluffs. Trail breaking in the forest is still horrible due to the crust but fine in more open areas that got new snow.
