Avalanche Information

Multiple small slides on lee slopes, appeared that a N/NW wind had been building up cornices and loading up wind slabs. Things didn't appear to be running extensively or stepping down to another persistent weak layer.

Weather

Calm winds anywhere but along alpine ridges. A N/NW wind transporting lots of snow.

Snowpack

Snow felt quite stable, surface hoar was beginning to form, appeared most prevalent on North facing aspects. South facing aspects below 1400m had significant sun crusting. Brutal skiing.
