Skinned up to just below the Bow summit viewpoint and skied the lower slopes in the glades below the tree line. We started around 9am, it was quite cloudy and windy with poor visibility until around 11, when the clouds parted and made for a beautiful ride down with deep pow and perfect visibility. Measured about 130-140cm of snow to the base. Snow pack felt quite stable and didn’t see or hear any avalanche activity. Parking lot was maybe 1/3 full by the time we finished around 1pm. Fair amount of other people out, but not too crowded. Saw a few groups doing the upper slopes above the tree line.
