Puzzle peak

Great day out at puzzle peak. It was chilly starting out at the car but felt like a but it was hot in the alpine once the sun came out. The recent snow made for some great ski conditions with about 15-20 cm of light snow on top of a supportive crust. On south facing slopes the sun crust started to appear around 2500 m but up high was still skiing great! We did note a few recent natural slab avalanches out of steep terrain likely from the new snow, probably a few days old. No other signs of instability noted.
