Quick Observation
Walked the James Walker trail on patchy snow in but was abel to skin up from the north aspect starting at 2100m, had to take the skis off few times for log hopping. Snow was supportive the whole way up. Hard crust starting at 2400m. Good crust skiing on the way down. Cold strong north winds on the summit. Alpine was still frozen as of 1230pm.
